Information for New Special Education Teachers
SEPAC provides start-up assistance for all Special Education teachers in the Northshore School District.
SEPAC has added a new line item to it’s annual budget of $100 for
each new Special Education teacher in the Northshore District to help
offset the expense of setting up a classroom for the first time. Each
fall, this special grant is automatically sent to new special education
teachers.
There is also money available to help with: Community Access trips;
Inclusion Training; Stipends for workshops; and School Grants for
special needs/activities for your classroom. All these can be accessed
by contacting SEPAC’s Treasurer, Nancy Burrows, at treasurer@sepacnsd.org.
Parent and Teacher Information
Stipends for Conferences: SEPAC has money available for a variety of purposes to assist parents and teachers better serve special needs children. Stipends ($50) are available for parents and teachers to use to help offset the costs of workshops, training and seminars.

Summer Scholarships: Scholarship money is available ($50) for parents to help send their child to many of the summer school programs offered during the summer. Summer Academy, summer tutoring, Specialized Reading Programs, or any other specialized summer program aimed at assisting a child catch up academically.
